this will probably be easier just stick built.on top of that, the top plate is half wall height so the bottom chord would cut through the room unless it was some sort of scissor truss.

Yeah, definitely stick built. Cutting rafters became my summertime specialty during college. I got pretty damn good at it.

I first built them in sketchup so I could get a solid plan down. Then I built them in my backyard using my old bathroom door and a couple saw horses as a work surface. I bet I could make some awesome stuff if i had a proper workshop and tools
